Setting out to fill the gap between “too early” and “too late” in trade show shipping.
Truckers would arrive with shipments to trade shows hours or days before the event only to be left idling on the street or even turned away until it was time to receive shipments for that trade show.
We saw that drivers could drop off their deliveries at a secure dock that could then deliver those items ON TIME to the convention center.
Then drivers wouldn’t have to wait around to deliver their freight and convention centers wouldn’t have trucks outside lined up on the streets. And so, Tradeshow Transport was born.
Tradeshow Transport operates out of a spacious cross docking facility in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago.
We are only 5 minutes away from McCormick Place and are reasonably close to many other convention centers like Navy Pier, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Allstate Arena, and Chicagoland hotels that serve trade shows. Our dock has a sizable lot giving trucks easy access to the loading bays.
